D'Arcy, passed away at Friday Harbor, Saturday, September 9, at the age of 74 years. Mrs. D'Arcy had been a resident of Friday Harbor for the past forty years and was a member of the Episcopal Church. Her family was prominent in the early history of that part of Washington, the town of Kirkland being named after her father. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. V. J. Capron and Mrs. Jessie Charlton, both of Friday Harbor, Mrs. P. C. Merrill, of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. A. L. Dixon in England; two brothers, Arnold Kirk, of Seattle, Wash. and Peter Kirk of Friday Harbor. Funeral services were conducted from the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford-Beck Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 12, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Canon E. B. Smith of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Cremation.
