Loving mother of Judith A. Ryder and her husband Douglas of Marblehead. Dear grandmother of Ethan C. Ryder of Marblehead. Devoted sister of Alice DiStasio and her husband Carl of Middleboro and the late Albert and Kenneth Richardson and Florence Floyd. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph, until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:10 p.m in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. Mary Youth Ministry, 211 No. Main St., Randolph, MA 02368 or to the Charity of ones choice. Doris was born in Boston and died at the Devereux House in Marblehead on Friday. A graduate of Hyde Park High School and the So. Middlesex Secreterial School, she had worked for the Wellesley Schools Administrative offices for many years. Doris was a member of both the St. Mary and St. Bernadette Seniors. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing and traveling. Doris was most devoted to her family and friends and was married to her husband for 49 years.
