A son of the late Jacob and Minnie (Wallace) Robblee, the deceased was born at Lower Granville (now Port Royal) 75 years ago. Following service overseas during the First World War he spent some time in King's County before returning to Port Royal about 30 years ago. He endured a prolonged period of poor health borne with fortitude and courage. Mr Robblee leaves his wife, the former Edith Hicks of Aylesford; a daughter, Janet, Mrs Howard Corsley of Halifax; 2 sons: Michael with the RCMP, Newcastle Detachment; Philip with the armed forces at CFB Gagetown; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Mary, Mrs Fred Whitman of Aylesford; a brother, Wallace of Swan River, Manitoba. Two sisters (Lizzie and Alice) and 2 brothers (Rex and Philip) predeceased him. Funeral was form the Port Royal Union Church on Saturday afternoon, August 22nd, Reverend Edgar Richardson, pastor of the United Baptist Church, of which the deceased was a member, officiating. Interment was in Stoney Beach Cemetery.
