DeLong, occurred at the family home, Union Square, on Friday afternoon at the age of seventeen years. Besides her parents, she is survived by brothers Philip, a theological student at Acadia University, Wolfville, and Gordon and Robert, at home; and by one sister, Annetta, also at home. The funeral service on Sunday afternoon was conducted by Rev. H.U. Hutchinson, pastor of the Baptist Church at Barss Corner, of which church she had been a member of much promise.
