Sutton Watson, 98, of Hanover died Saturday, April 10, 2004 in the Southwwod Nursing Home in Norwell. The daughter of the late Stanley and Julia Sloat Sutton, she was born in Andover, New Brunswick, Canada on January 7, 1906. She was raised and educated in Canada and lived in New Jersey before moving to Hanover 37 years ago. Mrs. Watson was formerly employed as a Dental Assistant. She was recognized in December of 2003 with a Certificate from the Board of Selectmen as the oldest resident of the Town of Hanover. She was a Member of the Friends of the South Shore Hospital and volunteered many years for the Hospital. Wife of the late Wendell D. Watson, she is survived by 1 daughter, Julie W. Whitt of Hanover 3 grandchildren, Keith Whitt of Tampa FL, Wendell Whitt and Craig Whitt both of Rockland and 10 great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 10 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in Hanover. Internment in Hanover Center Cemetery.
