Lohnes, 86, beloved wife of Edward "Bud" A. Lohnes with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, passed away Tuesday, April 10 at Putnam Farm in Danvers. Born in Beverly, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Fall) Clark. Phyllis was born June 10, 1925 at Beverly Hospital. She married her husband Bud on March 9, 1947. Phyllis is a graduate of Danvers High School and Salem Commercial School. She enjoyed music and dancing. For several years, Phyllis was employed at the Beverly Cooperative Bank. She is a long time member of the Immanuel Congregational Church in Ryal Side. Phyllis enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching game shows. After her retirement, she traveled to several countries. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Richard Lohnes and his wife Patricia of Plaistow, N.H., David Lohnes and his wife Susan of Beverly, and Janet Crosby and her husband Wayne of Danvers; her grandchildren: Cynthia Lohnes, Matt Ferreira, Elizabeth and Jimmy Giarruso, Kate Lohnes, Kristen and Lou Tarabelsi, Andrea and Steve Paskievich, Jeffrey and Lisa Lohnes, Bryan and Kevin Crosby; and her five great grandchildren: Luc, Dominic and Zoe Tarabelsi, William and Wesley Paskievich. She is predeceased by her sister Alice Norbaka.
