Langstaff, 81, died Friday at the Abbot Manor Nursing Home, Plainfield. He was born in New York City and had lived in Roselle Park for more than 55 years, and in Plainfield for the past two years. His daughter, Mrs. Barbara Kuelling, lives in Westfield. In 1963, he retired from his position as a cable splicer for PSEG in Elizabeth after more than 45 years of service. His wife, the late Emma Kackle Langstaff, died in 1973. In addition to Mrs. Kuelling, he is survived by one son, George F. Langstaff of Martinsville; a sister, Mrs. Irene Eckert of Nutley, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., with the Rev. Eugene Behwinkel of Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
