She was born in Oxford, N.S. and married James Gallagher in Oxford, N.S. in 1953. A longtime and well like Onaping resident, Dorothy had been the town's post master for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She had been an active member of the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club until last year she bowled regularly with the Golden Age Club. Special thanks to the 4th Floor Nursing Staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre and all the wonderful staff at the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre. Beloved wife of James Gallagher predeceased 1991. Survived by her daughter and best friend Lynn of Onaping, son Jim (wife Sofia) of Sudbury and son Mike (wife Kelly) of Port Elgin. Cherished grandmother of Cory (fiancée Rachel), Jamie, Kyle, Sean, Nico and Joel. Dear daughter of Elvin and Mary (Barnes) Angevine predeceased. Loving sister of Donna Johnson of Malagash, N.S., Cyril Angevine predeceased (wife Arlene of Oxford, N.S.), Kathleen Parks (husband Ron) of Eganville, Gary Angevine (wife Roberta) of Oxford, N.S. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Vistation at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Thursday, March 13th, 2008 from 3-6 p.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Maplecrest Cemetery.
