Born in Pugwash Junction at home, he was a son of the late Alphonse and Laura (Langille) McEachern. He was a hunter of large game; enjoyed fishing; and loved listening to country music. Wayne also loved to sing and play along with his Gibson guitar. Surviving are his long time companion, Beverly Redden, Belmont; her boys, Adam, Josh and Jake; Wayne's sons, Geoff (Heather); Mark; daughter, Angela and her son Mitchell, all of Berwick; several grandchildren; brothers, Hugh, Berwick; Rodney, Alberta; sister, Ch-naut Grey, Oxford; special nephews, Hugh and Dennis; several other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Arnold, Sydney Mines; sisters, Diane Sellars and Lorna Alders, both of Kentville. In keeping with Wayne's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River, in the spring.
