Wallace Gordon Vacheresse, 70, of 53 Phillip St., Trenton, died Tuesday, Mar. 1 at home. Born in Westville, he was a son of Louise (Beckwith) Vacheresse Logan and the late Joseph Vacheresse. He was a retired stock clerk with the Department of Highways, a member of First United Church, Trenton, and a veteran of the Second World War. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Riley; two daughters, Nancy (Mrs George Brennan), New Glasgow; Denise (Mrs Michael Sangster), Westville; five sons, Wayne, Dartmouth; Gordon, at home; William, Hamilton, Ont.; Larry, Saint John, N.B.; Gary, Trenton; two sisters, Margaret (Mrs William Hayes), St. Catharines, Ont.; June, British Columbia; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant brother. Funeral service was held Friday, Mar. 4 in First United Church, Trenton, Rev. Alfred Woodworth officiating. Burial was in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to First United Church organ fund.
