A lifelong resident of Texas, she spent the last several years in Fort Worth. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Richard Wetzel and Louvina Edwards Wetzel; brothers, Alfred Lee "Slim" Wetzel and John Henry Wetzel; sisters, Ida Wetzel Kluck and Henrietta Wetzel Hebert. She is survived by a daughter and son; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one brother. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers a memorial may be sent to The Peace Garden of Christ Lutheran Church, Sycamore School Road, Fort Worth, TX 76133 or Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX 78628.
