Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Ferguson died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002 Mrs Ferguson was born on April 20, 1928, in Arcadia, La., the daughter of the late Hubert Lee and Lula Kirkpatrick. She married William "Bill" Ferguson on April 10, 1951, in Revena. She had been a resident of Brownwood since 1963, formerly of Brady. She was a homemaker and had delivered for the Brownwood Bulletin for several years. She was a Baptist and a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Melvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Lula Beaty Kirkpatrick and two brothers, Wilton and William Kirkpatrick.
