  • Obituary: Jack M. Higdon, 77, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, from Parkinson's disease. Service: A celebration of Jack's Life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Methodist Church in Bedford. Associate Pastor Sheila Fiorella will officiate. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Jack and his wife, Wanda, shared 54 years of marriage and a wonderful life. They loved raising their beautiful family together and were the best of friends. Jack and Wanda traveled extensively all over the U.S. and abroad. Jack will never be forgotten by his family. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a wonderful friend to everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Randy; and his precious daughter, Kelly Higdon-Beckum. May you rest in peace, Jack, Dad, friend. Survivors: Loving wife, Wanda; daughter, Tracey and husband, Burl Yarbrough; granddaughters, Taylor and husband, Ryan Gordner, Alexandra Yarbrough, Kelsey Beckum and Courtney and husband, Brandon Van Zandt; great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Ryder Gordner, Audrey Leigh Van Zandt and Annabelle deJesus; brothers, Paul and Harold; sisters, Doris Neala and Juanita Bowles; and many other dear family members and friends.
