  • Obituary: John Frederick Helm, 84, Tidnish Bridge, died Thursday in the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Tidnish Bridge, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Helm. Besides his wife, Georgina, he is survived by three daughters, Mildred (Mrs. Richard Strang); Evelyn (Mrs. Alan MacGregor), both of Tidnish Bridge; Edna (Mrs. Roy Langille), Gulf Shore; three brothers, Bordon, Amherst; Percy, Tidnish Bridge; William, Brewer, Maine; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Strang, Tidnish Bridge. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Tidnish Bridge United Church. Burial will be in Tidnish Cemetery Chronicle Herald Halifax,NS Sep 4, 1970
