  • Obituary: Charles Edward Ingalls, 90, of Holliston, died Monday, March 16, 2009. Born in Danvers, he was the son of the late Charles and Ila (Bishop) Ingalls. He was the husband of Janis L. (Levitan) Ingalls of Holliston. A Holliston resident since 1954, he was a teacher of English and History and enjoyed poetry, music and gardening. Besides his wife of 67 years, he leaves behind 2 sons, Charles Kenneth Ingalls of Baldwinville, MA., Robert Ingalls and his wife Charlsa of Hooksett, N.H., 2 daughters, Kathryn A. Ingalls of Framingham, Margaret I. Minville and her husband Joseph of Little Compton, R.I. and 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Kelsa, Jonathan and Andrew. He is predeceased by 3 siblings. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 9:30-10:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00a.m. Burial will take place at Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston.
