Obituary: Halifax Herald February 16, 1985
Marguerite (Reta) Marion Longley, Glenhaven Manor, formerly of 16 Albion Avenue, Stellarton, did Friday, February 15, 1985, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Good) Gray. She lived in Stellarton since 1972 ,and previously was a resident of Clark's Harbour, New Germany, and Bridgewater. She was a member of Sharon St.John United Church and active in church as a choir member and director at various churches in Nova Scotia. She is survived by her husband, E. Gordon Longley; a son, Eric, Ottawa; two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, John; four sisters, Janie, Annie, Georgie, and Lilla. The body is in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Norman MacDougall officiating. Burial in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB. Marguerite died on Friday the 15th of Febuary 1985.
