Born in Mount Uniacke, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Taylor) Fletcher. She graduated from the Payzant Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Windsor, in 1929. She dedicated her life to a nursing career, working throughout Canada and the United States. For several years she lived in New Orleans, returning to Windsor in 1972. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Osborne, Dartmouth; Mrs. Margaret Doucette, Yarmouth; A brother John, Mount Uniacke; several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Claude, and a sister Mildred Burrell. The body has been donated to Medical Science. Memorial service will be today at 2:30 pm in Dykeland Lodge; Rev. Robert Brooks officiating. Donations may be made to Dykeland Lodge Memorial Fund or any charity.
