It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward "Eddie" Miller on December 10, 2009, at home in Pugwash, surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Middleton, Eddie was the son of the late Lawrence Miller and the late Geraldine (Langille) Hodges. Eddie lived at home with his parents until age five when he entered the Pictou Training Center. He then lived with his "alternate" family until September 2003, when he moved to Kings Regional Rehabilitation Center, Waterville. He moved to the Sunset Community in October 2006, where he was loved by all who knew him. Eddie was small in stature but big in personality. He loved interacting with people but would let you know if you got too close or too noisy. He always said his prayers and would ask everyone "what's your name"? Eddie loved music, his "kitty", Christmas and ketchup on everything. In addition to his family at Sunset, Eddie is survived by his brother, James (Sophie), St. Catharine's, Ont. and is predeceased by sisters, Catherine and Linda. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Monday, December 14, immediately followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., both in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (243-2506), Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Burial to follow in Palmerston Cemetery, Pugwash. Donations in memory may be made to any charity.
