  • Obituary: On the 3rd inst., in the eighty first year of his age, Mr. Wells Condon of Melvern Square, he was for many years a consistent member of the Wesleyan Church, and for some time occupied the responsible position of leader in the society. For some time prior to his death he was deprived of intercourse with the visible world as his sight had failed him, but the visions of his faith appeared to brighten, and in full hope of a resurrection to eternal life he passed away to that place where there is no night. He was a man of general intelligence and many will not soon forget the days in which they were accustomed to gather round him to receive instruction from his lips as a public teacher of youth. Those lips are now closed in death, that robust form has been laid in the tomb. Provincial Wesleyan March 6,1872
