  • Obituary: Langille, Carman Blaine, 55, West Pugwash, passed away August 20, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Clinton and Marjorie (Langille) Langille. He worked for several years at the Canadian Salt Company, Pugwash, and then went to work as an ironworker for a total of 19 years. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 752 and a member of The United Church of Canada. Carmen loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and later in life, he spent a good portion of his time on the computer, bringing the outside back in. He enjoyed spending time with friends and was always first in line to come to the aid of others. Carmen had a wonderful spirit and will forever be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father and brother. Surviving are his wife, Wilma (MacIntyre); sons, Blayne (Myra), Truro; Nicholas, West Pugwash; sisters, Iva (Leo) Farrell, Norma Stevenson, both of Mississauga, Ont.; Judy (Hector) Allen, Pugwash; Carol, Oxford; brothers, Dean (Kathy) Langille, Pugwash; Dale (Jean), West Pugwash; nephew, Randy Starchuck, Mississauga, Ont.; uncle, Beaton Langille, Amherst; several more nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Cecil.
