Notes

  • Occupation: Steel Worker
  • Obituary: Dale passed away at the North Cumberland Hospital, Pugwash on Dec 2 ,2022 with his family by his side. Dale worked as a Steel Worker for 39 years with Local 752 International Iron Worker throughout all of the Atlantic Provinces. He retired to stay home and take care of his wife Jean when she became ill. After retirement Dale went to work for Gordie Spicer at Spicer's Plumbing. Dale married his high school sweetheart on May 6,1968 and he travelled with his job leaving Jeannie to raise their three girls at home, which Jeannie loved because she was well aware Dale would be coming home on the weekends with lots of diamonds and gold. Dale loved to have company especially his family but he wasn't long to let you know he loved to see you go as well. He had a heart of gold but stubborn as hell… Dale was an avid fisherman, and loved to get out in his boat and enjoy the "quiet" he would tell us, or just sitting outside under the big tree enjoying a little drink of whiskey. Dale is predeceased by his parents, Clinton and Marjorie Langille; brothers, Cecil and Carmen; sisters, Norma, Iva, Kay and Judy; son-in-law, Daniel Fisher; nephew; Steven Allen; grandson, Noah Patriquin in infancy; special friend Gail Thompson. He is survived by his twin brother, Dean Langille; daughter's, Tracy (Terry), Wallace, Treena, New Glasgow, Lainnie (Dana), Port Howe; son-in-law, Winston Patrquin; grandchildren; Jake, Ashley, Brent, Lily, Elaina, Kyle, Kelsi, Landon and Harrison; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; sister's-in-law, Betty Langille and Wilma Langille. Dale's family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr McFarlane, Martha Ferguson, staff at the NCMH, the VON especially to Korrin Patriquin. A celebration of life will take place Dec 7,2022, from 2-4 pm at Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash. Family burial at a later date at the Wallace River Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Cumberland County VON.
