Obituary: LANGILLE, Cecil Alexander - 57, Gulf Shore, Cumberland County, died
September 21, 1993, in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash.
Born in Wallace Bridge, he was a son of the late Clinton and Marjorie
(Langille) Langille. He worked as an underground foreman at the
Canadian Salt Company, Pugwash for 25 years. In his earlier years, he
was employed with the Wallace Stone Quarry and the Department of
Highways. He was an avid dart player and member of the Pugwash Dart
Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Smith; daughter,
Lorraine, Pugwash; three sons, Paul, Orangeville, Ont.; David, Pugwash;
Bruce, Springhill; four sisters, Iva Farrell, Norma
Stevenson, both of Ontario; Judy Allen, Carol Langille, both of
Pugwash; three brothers, Dale, Dean, Carmen, all of Pugwash. Visitation
will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, where
funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Clayton Kuhn officiating. Burial
will be in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
