Obituary: COOK, Ronald Keir\endash 75, passed away December 29th in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Bay Head, he was son of the late Thomas and Moira (MacLeod) Cook. He is survived by wife; Gertie, Truro, son; Larry (Denise) Cook, Middle Sackville, daughter; Sherry (Mike) Persaud, Ontario, grandchildren; Jocelyn, Erin, Patrick, Chris and Nikki, great grandson; Jacob, brothers; Jackie, Jimmy, Roger, sisters; Kay Reeves, Jean (Charlie) Duggan, Myrtle Cook, Joan (Kenny) Reeves, Cheryl (Malcolm) Reeves and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He worked at the Canadian Salt Co. Ltd in Pugwash for 41 years and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all. The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists for the great care received in the hospital. Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service by request. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday January 3rd at 2:00 pm for family and friends at 131 Oakwood Drive, Truro Heights.
