Born at Wallace Bridge she was the daughter of the late Barlow and Annie (Akerley) Langille. She was a member of Wesley St. Matthew's United Church, charter member of the Wallace Bay UCW and member of the Wallace Bay Women's Institute for over 40 years. She enjoyed making hand embroidered, hand quilted quilts for her family. Surviving are her son, Donald (Anne), Mississauga; daughter, Eleanor (Charlie) Hipson, Bedford, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Everton, brother, Carl and sister, Susan. Visitation from 3-6 p.m. Friday, July 11, and funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, both in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St.,Pugwash. Rev. Meggin King officiating. Burial in Wallace Bay Cemetery.
