Notes

  • Obituary: With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our baby sister, Judy Ann Langille. Judy passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her family, Ricky, Lewis, Joan, Lula and her chosen sister Faye, by her side, Thursday, November 2, 2023. Judy was the ultimate "jack of all trades", from farming at Knolls Farms, to changing tires (without a tire changer) for James Fraser. She could detail cars like no other. She finished her long career at Oxford Frozen Foods, where she had made many friends. Judy had a work ethic like no other, she would work a 12 hour shift then come home and go mowing lawns or clean a cottage. She loved the beach, even tackling a paddle board with 2 dogs on it, {no problem for her}. If Judy wasn't working she could probably be found at her chosen families homes, Sharon & Sherman Teed, Truro, Faye Henderson & Little Faye in Malagash, or at her friends, Judy Gillard, Malagash; that's if her and little Faye weren't off on an adventure some place. Judy traveled across Canada with her brother Ricky and her mother Agnes a few times (a fun adventure for all of them). A special thank you to Martha Ferguson and the palliative care team, the MAID team which thankfully wasn't needed and a special thank you to Faye Teed (little Faye), who was by Judy's side from start to finish on what they called their adventure; she or we couldn't have done it with out her. Judy is survived by brothers, Ricky and Lewis, sister, Joan, sister-in-law, Lula, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Oman and Agnes (Harrington) Langille, brother, Sheldon. Donations in memory may be made to Marilyn's Stray Cat Rescue would be appreciated. Judy loved her cats and any that came to her yard would be fed.
