  • Obituary: Langille, Sheldon Lee '96 59, Byers Lake / Lower Sackville. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother on November 23, at his camp (as he called it) at Byers Lake. Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of the late Oman and Agnes ( Harrington) Langille. Farmer, fisherman, construction worker, restaurant cook, aircraft engine detailer, carpenter, a man of many talents. He was an avid outdoorsman; Sheldon loved his snowmobiles and four wheelers but most of all he loved the Groomer, he could talk your ear off about it. During the winter months he could be found days and nights at a time in the Snowcat Groomer on the trails for the Warwick Mountain Snowmobile Club and recently won the "Groomer of the Year Award trough S.A.N.S.. He was a man of few words (except when it came to grooming), when asked to make a speech while accepting the award it consisted of three words "Let it Snow". Surviving are his brothers, Richard "Ricky", and Lewis (Lula); sisters, Joan (Joe) and Judy, who will miss her Sunday morning Robins coffee which he would bring every week and stay to watch Coronation Street. Also surviving is his mountain family, Jason Crowell and family (Areotech Engines), where Sheldon worked for several years, (think he was more of a great uncle than employee); also Guy Mattinson and family. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his good friend Ken Pickrem (bet the Rocky Brook Liars Club is back in full force now, he really missed his morning tea and toast with Ken and Gwen). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (902) 243-2506, from where visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the Warwick Mountain Snowmobile Club. In lieu of flowers donations to the Warwick Mountain Snowmobile Club would be appreciated. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting the funeral home website at www.mmcfunerals.com Happy trails "Groomer Man", you will be dearly missed. Have a feeling you will be keeping an eye on us, making sure our tracks don't come off.
