Courageous and determined, Kenda faced a five year battle with cancer, she did so with strong faith and belief. Her family sadly announce her peaceful passing. Kenda was born in Middle Musquodoboit and had a deep love for crafts, spontaneous travel, camping and most importantly her family. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Erma and Gordon Estabrooks, Oromocto, N.B.; her father and stepmother, Robert and Evelyn Andrews, Brandon, Man., as well as siblings, Cathy, Ben, Jenn, Bruce, Chrissy, Tanya and Don. Kenda's immediate family consisted of her loving husband, Glendon Langille, together with her daughters, Melissa Crossman-Hayden (Jeremy), Amanda Crossman and Mallory Crossman, his son, Kyle Langille, and three beautiful grandchildren (her pride and joy), Brianna, Faith and Tristan. Kenda drew great strength from her breast cancer support group and her many friends and family. Any person she met was touched by knowing her. The family wishes to thank Dr. Henderson, Ann McKim, Andy Crowell and Serena Lewis, nurses at 3 North-Colchester Regional Hospital as well as the many supporters that were part of Kenda's life. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 27th at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Truro, Rev. Gordon Delaney officiating. A reception will be held after the service.
