Obituary: LANGILLE, Leta Frances - 90, Tatamagouche, passed away May 5, 2008,
in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in
Tatamagouche, she was a daughter of the late Seth and Gertrude
(Watson) Millett. Leta was a homemaker and mother who loved to play
bingo. Surviving are daughters, Gertrude Lewis, Eileen Mingo (Floyd),
Doreen Tattrie (Boyd), all of Tatamagouche; Judy Hennessey (Frank),
Truro; sons, Ernest (Hazel), Austin, Richard (Sylvia), all of
Tatamagouche; Calvin (Gloria), Hammonds Plains; many grandchildren,
great-grandchildren , great great-grandchildren , nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Langille; grandchildren,
Brian Lewis, Chris Tattrie, Emily Mingo, and Anne Marie Langille; son-
in-law, Darrell Lewis; brothers, Aubrey, Vernon, Carl, Sydney,
William, and George; sisters, Irene Leslie, Clara Smith, Lottie
Fisher, and May Halliday. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and
funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8, Rev. Donald
Sutherland officiating, both in Coulter's Funeral Home (657-3288), 48
Riverside Dr., P.O. Box 190, Tatamagouche, NS B0K 1V0. Burial will be
in Lake Road Cemetery. A reception will be held in Roach Hall at the
Hills of Annand senior citizens residences following the funeral. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Nova Scotia.
