She was a graduate of the Business College in Kentville. She loved her kids and grandchildren, as well as sewing and cooking. She was the loving wife of John; beloved mother of Tammy Verran (Jim), Bridgetown; Robyn Wallace (Fred), South Carolina; Christina Bond (Kevin), Lower Sackville; Jeffery, Annapolis Royal, and Richard, Lower Sackville. Leila will be missed by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Claude (Marion) Lowe, Lawrencetown; Rosamond Beals, Lawrencetown; Audrey MacQuarrie (Don), Middleton, and Dorothy Lowe, Halifax. Leila was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Lowe; sisters, Lorane Stillwell, Faye Crowell, and stepsisters, Bernice Naulger and Elva East. Visitation will be today from 7-9 p.m. in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 6, at 2:30 p.m. in Bridgetown Baptist Church, Rev. George Neily officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bridgetown Fire Hall, Bridgetown Baptist Church, or to a charity of choice.
