  • Obituary: Funeral services for Eunice Laverne Trimble, 83, of Brownwood were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Central United Methodist Church with Dr. Gary Torian officiating. Mrs. Trimble passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Trimble was born March 9, 1926, in Brown County, Texas to Edward and Ivy Burleson. She was married to Tom Trimble on July 24, 1993, in Brownwood. She was the original sales clerk for Mrs. Baird's Thrift Store and worked for Bealls Department Store for a number of years. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, and a previous member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class for a number of years. She was very active in the church in her earlier years and very active in the Central United Methodist Church United Methodist Women. Eunice's greatest love was bowling, where she won numerous trophies over the years. Eunice is survived by her husband, Tom Trimble of Brownwood; two daughters, Marcia Wright and her husband Robert of Albuquerque, N.M., and Patricia Crickenberger and her husband Timothy of Palmora, Va.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; two step-daughters; and one step-son. She was preceded in death by husbands L. N. "Doc" Blair and H. G. Willson; three sisters; one brother; and her parents.
