Birth Born on May 18, 1826 in Cornwallis, Kings Co., NS Death Died on October 31, 1905 in Canning, Kings Co., NS Marriages WOODWORTH, John Bowles Married on September 18, 1841 in Cornwallis, Kings Co., NS Children WOODWORTH, William Somerville: October 13, 1847 - July 22, 1925 Notes Obituary: Berwick Register, Nov. 2, 1905 The Death occurred on Tuesday morning, at Canning, of Mrs. Mary Borden, widow of the late Dr. Jonathon Borden, and step-mother of the Minister of Militia. Mrs. Borden was a daughter of the late John M. Caldwell, High Sheriff of Kings County. She was twice married, her first husband being Mr. John B. Woodworth, of Centreville. By him she had eight children, three of whom, with their father, died of diphtheria in March, 1859. Miss M.A. Woodworth and Dr. W.S. Woodworth, of Kentville, and Mrs. C.R. Dickie, of Canning, with whom she resided, are children by this marriage, as are also Thomas C. and John C. Woodworth, residing in the United States.
