The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009, at the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Homes of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2009, in the Indian Creek Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A son of the late Edwin Louis and Sarah Mannie (Willson) Wells, he was born December 1, 1958, in Brownwood. On July 21, 1979, he married Cynthia Little in Wichita Falls. Danny worked in construction for most of his life. He loved to go hunting and fishing and enjoyed playing shuffleboard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Wells. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Wells of Wichita Falls; daughter, Hannah "Rocky" Wells of Wichita Falls; brothers, Andy Wells and Andrea Womack of Lakeside City, Floyd Wells and wife, Patty of Wichita Falls, Lloyd Wells of Wichita Falls, and Eddie Wells of Brownwood; sister, Ella Jernigan of Arlington; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Clay Jackson, Gary Birkenfeld, Jake Denton, Jerry Driskill, Bud Morgan, Steve Lankford, John Peysen and Joe Beavers.
