  • Obituary: James Conrad McKinnerney of Richland Springs passed away at his home with his children by his side on January 15, 2016. He was born October 2, 1925, in San Saba County to Connie and Nellie McKinnerney. He married Wanda Perry on August 30, 1948. J.C. was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest enjoyments in life were his family and life on their farm plowing and feeding his livestock. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his son: Mackie McKinnerney of Richland Springs; daughters: Treasa Miller and husband, Craig of Bangs and Gwenell Miller and husband, Lee, of Azle: grandchildren: Cody Miller and wife, Lauren, Whitney Miller and husband, Colton, Candice DeVina and husband, Patrick, Daffney Scheiderich and husband, Robert, Megan Conley and Alex, Morgan, Sarah and Sam Miller, 5 great grandchildren: brothers A.D. McKinnerney and wife, Vynoma, and Floyd McKinnerney and wife, Janet; sisters: Odessa Edwards, Ozelle Yates and husband, Harold, and Geneva White; numerous nieces and nephews and family friends Peggy Tompkins and Patrick Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 67 years, brothers William McKinnerney and John McKinnerney, and sisters Etta Solsberry and Venita Martin.
