Skilton Hubert A. Skilton, 66, of 1746 Henry Street, Halifax, died at home Friday. Born in Joggins Mines, he was the son of Mrs. Agnes Stonehouse of Amherst and the late Arthur Skilton of England. He was a former employee of Dalhousie University, retiring last year. He was previously employed by the Blominion Coal Company in Springhill for 38 years. Surviving are his mother; his wife, the former Delilah Henwood; 2 daughters, Marlene (Mrs. Gary Petley), London, Ont.; Debbie (Mrs. Freddy Henwood), Halifax; one step-son, Denny Blenkhorn, Mississauga, Ont.; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Arthur and Buba; two brothers, Hollis and Garfield. The body is at Snow's Funeral Home where funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m., Fr. John Hayes officiating.
