He is survived by his wife, the former Violet Scott; daughters, Diane Forrest (Willis), Sydney Mines; Anna Marie Clarke (Chris), Parrsboro; Debbie Taylor, North Sydney; son, Terry (Theresa), Parrsboro; a sister, Beatrice Durant, Parrsboro; brothers, Allan (Shane); Gary (Tammy); Cleveland, all of Parrsboro; 8 grandchildren, Berton Pettis, Leonard Forrest, James Forrest and Christopher Forrest; Brittany Clarke and Justin Clarke; Travis Taylor and Tiffany Taylor; 4 great grandchildren, Faith, Victoria, Zachary and Katie. He was predeceased by a son, James; a sister, Jean Spencer; brothers, Roland, Robert, Verland, Gerald, Fred, Ralph.
