Notes

  • Marriage Notice: "Wedding Bells" Munro-Langille A quite but interesting wedding was solemnized Monday, August 5, 1929 at 4 pm at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Thomas, 302 High Street, Moncton, New Brunswick, where Miss Bessie Aleen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Langille, Bridge Street, Stellarton, was united in marriage to Robert Irving Munro, son of Mrs. Annie Munro, Foord Street, Stellarton. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Smart. The bride looked very pretty attired in a navy blue and shadow ensemble with accessories to match. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Langille, of Stellarton. The rooms were beautifully decorated with roses and sweet peas. Only the immediate relatives and friends of the contracting parties were present. After the ceremony a bridal supper was served, following which the happy couple left on a motor trip through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. On their return they will reside on Foord Street, Stellarton. Both the bride and groom are well and favorably known not only in Stellarton but throughout Pictou County. The bride is a graduate of Stellarton High School and taught school for some time. The past few years she has resided in Boston. The groom is one of Stellarton's young business men and conducts a first class Dairy business on Foord Street. Congratulations and best wishes are extended to the happy couple by many friends.
