Marven is survived by his wife, the former Grace Carter; sons, Vance (Barbara), Hansford; Roy (Kim), Truro ; daughters, Eva (Kenneth) Cameron, Gulf Shore; Rozella Murray, Oxford Junction; Ivy (Brian) Kierstead, Amherst ; Mary (Gary) Higgs, Avonport; Joann (Richard) Strickland, Pictou; Esther (Trevor) St. Peter, Morrisburg, ON; Brothers, Garnet (Rose), Oxford; Leon (Marg) and Lloyd (Linda), both of Ottawa, ON; sister, Marie MacDonald, Oxford; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Johnatan; daughters, Gloria, Grace; sister, Eudora. A celebration of Marven's life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 2 in Church of the Nazarene, Oxford.
