Born in Green's Creek, Colchester Co., she was a daughter of Clarence and Georgie (Geddes) Burris. She enjoyed travelling to different exhibtions and horse shows. She loved to dance and to listen to old time music. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Henderson; four daughters, Fern Bates, Green's Creek; Barb (Mrs. Gerald Delaney), Truro; Karen ( Mrs. Walter Beers), Bass River, N.B.; Frances (Mrs. Stanley Carter), Camden; a son, Brent (Diane) Henderson, Camden; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. She was predeceased by son, Floyd Collins; two brothers, Earl and Suther; a great-granddaughter, Sarah Bates. Visitation 2-4pm today, funeral 12pm, Sunday. Rev. Lloyd Burrows officiating. Spring burial in Camden Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Harmony Camden United Church.
