She attended The University of California at Berkley where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She graduated with honors from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, with a BA in history and English. She is also survived by her brother, Rodney Wagner of La Cygne, Kansas and Houma, Louisiana, her sister, Becky Mann of Indianapolis, Indiana as well as her dear nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jerry Fain and Nurse Sharon Baley at Texas Oncology; the professional staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; the wonderful, caring staff at Hospice Austin; and the help and support of friends and family through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, you may make a remembrance to The Settlement Home of Austin or Hospice Austin or a charity of your choice.
