Born in Sand Point, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Laura (BUCKLER) REID. She lived most of her life in Tatamagouche except for a few years she spent in Amherst before the First World War. She was a member of Sharon United Church; the Minnie Clark Unit, UCW, Freedom Rebecca Lodge and the past noble grands club. Surviving are one daughter, Geneva (Mrs. John ROBINSON), Tatamagouche; two grandsons, Thomas, Busby, Alta.; and Timothy, Greenwood; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Anderson; one brothers, Stanley and three sisters, Mabel, Leota and Annie. The body is at Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Sharon United Church, Rev. Morley BENTLEY officiating. Burial will be in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche.
