She is survived by her husband Richard Heckmann and children Gregory (Maura) Heckmann, Kirsten (Robert) Raymond, David (Cynthia) Heckmann, and Amy (Greg) Ripp. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mira and Callie Heckmann, Emma, Nathaniel,and Gregory Raymond, Andrew (Emily) Axelton, Timothy (Marissa) Heckmann, Hayley (D.A.) Heckmann Larson and Christoper Heckmann. Susan grew up and lived for many years in Norwood. While there, she was involved in various theater groups and programs in the area. She directed and/or taught theater classes for The Walpole Footlighters, Norwood and Canton Public Schools, as well as various other schools and organizations. She enjoyed working with students to reach their theatrical goals. Private family services will be held at a future date.
