Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late Charles Edward and Nellie (Terris) Crawford. She was a member of Pythian Star Temple # 8, Pythian Sisters; The Lady Minto Rebekah Lodge # 23, Springhill and past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sackville, N. B. She worked 15 years as a C.N.A. in Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax, All Saints Hospital, Springhill and Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Gilbert, Springhill; son, Arthur (Lanore) Fisher of Penticton, B. C.; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Leroy Fisher; five brothers, John, Frank, Charles, Arthur and Harold. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 1 - 2 pm Wednesday, November 28, 2007 followed immediately at 2:00 pm by a Memorial Funeral Service with The Reverend Perry Hanley officiating, both held in A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Springhill Baptist Church would be appreciated.
