Born in Fountain Road, he was a son of the late Bedford and Violet (Vincent) Langille. Charles had been employed at the Pugwash Salt Mine; as a bus driver and mechanic for Wathan Peers; and a pulp truck driver. In 1988 Charles and his wife Charlene bought a service station in Pugwash which has operated as Langille's Service Centre. He loved the garage where he would meet and chat with all his customers. He would do anything for anyone. Charles was a beautiful, kind hearted and nurturing man who will be so dearly missed by his wife Charlene; daughter, Jennie (Richie), Pugwash Jct.; son, Sean (Roxane), Pugwash; beloved grandchildren, Mikey, Jonny, Ben; Chantell and Marshall (all who he cherished more than life its self); brother, Wilbert (Linda), Redcliffe, Alb.; sister's, Carol (Lloyd) Smith, Lamont, Alb.; Betty (Jeff) Milner, Amherst; Marilyn Reeves-Chatfield (Eddie) and Joycelyn (Andy) Yarrow, all of Pugwash Jct; sister's in law, Eunice Langille, Redcliffe, Alb.; Virginia (Alton) Brown, Wallace Ridge; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Raymond and Alfred; a sister in infancy. He will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. in Mundle's Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (902 243-2506). The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Wesley St. Matthew United Church, Pugwash. Rev. Meggin King officiating. Burial in Eaton Cemetery, Pugwash Junction.
