The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by a son Orland and two daughters, Clara (Mrs. Walter Beaver) and Lillian (Mrs. Lionel Nichols), all of Belmont; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lucy May Cox; a daughter, Dorothy; four sisters, Emma, Elsie, Alice and Sarah; a half-brother Edward, and a half-sister Elizabeth.
