Phil is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean (McCarthy); daughter, Lynn (Caroline); son, Mitchell (Catherine); grandchildren, Bennett, Grace, Aidan, Callum; brothers, Bobby (Eileen), Paul (Dot). He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Vera (McCallum) McNutt; son, Scott; brother, Bill. By request, there will be no visitation or service. Private interment will be held at a later date in Aenon Baptist Cemetery, Central North River. The McNutt family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care he received from the Cancer Care Team in Halifax and Truro, and also a special note of gratitude to Dr. Don Rowe and Kristy Vincent, NP.
