  • Obituary: Luther Gunn CHAMBERS, 81, of Tatamagouche, died Wednesday, June 6, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Sand Point, he was a son of the late George and Amelia (PATRIQUIN) CHAMBERS. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oddfellows Lodge, Tatamagouche. He is survived by four sons, Steward, Sand Point; John, Balfron; Clarence and Curtis, both of Tatamagouche; a daughter, Marina, Trenton, Ont.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Rena Ethel LANGILLE; three brothers; four sisters. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche, Rev. Morley BENTLEY officiating, with burial in Lockerby's Cemetery, Tatamagouche.
