  • Obituary: December 28, 1985. M. Eileen LANGILLE, 65, of Halifax, died Saturday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Brule Shore, Colchester County, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Bell (STUDIVAN) MacBURNIE. She studied violin in New Glasgow and with a professor at Mount Allison University. She taught violin in the Tatamagouche area for several years in the 1940s. She was a member of Fairview United Church and the United Church Women. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert (Gil); a brother, James, and a sister, Viola McCARTHY, both of Caribou Mines; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Alexander. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today in Fairview United Church, Rev. Robert MILLS officiating. Burial will be in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
