Oz was born on the home property, May 1, 1934, the son of the late Stewart and Anna (Mockler) Langille. There, he lived his whole life only leaving to work at various locations in the area. Surviving is his sister, Marion, several cousins, and close friends for many years, Dana Jefferson and Glenn Forbes. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery in Tatamagouche. Memorial donations can be made to any charity.
