Born in River John, he was a son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (McDonnell) Gratto. Surviving are sons, Edward, Durham; Keith, Toney River; Steven, River John; brothers, Stanley, Mountain Road; Murray, Welsford; sisters, Annie Sutherland, Mountain Road; Bernice Thompson, River John; Eileen Langille, River John; Mildred Eaton, Woodstock, Ont.; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Maudie; brother, Edward. Funeral 2 p.m. today in St. Georges Presbyterian Church, River John, Rev. Jeannette Fleischer officiating, assisted by Rev. Donald Sutherland. Burial in Mountain Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to North Shore Health Services Foundation or Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche.
