John is survived by his loving of wife of 61 years', Ada Kathleen "Peter" (nee Harmer), his sisters, Janet, June (Ken), Nola (Clair), Diane (Dave). His three children, Karen (Rob), Kim, Charles (Ann); his five grandchildren, John (Melanie), Mary Beth, Rebecca (Mark), Rachel, and Jonathan; his 3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Charlie, and Ellieah. John was an avid fly fisherman and for many years could be found on the various trout and salmon streams throughout the Maritime Provinces. He was also an active member of the Keith Lodge No. 23 Masonic Lodge and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. John's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service for John will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:30pm, with Rev. Dr. James R. MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service. Family flowers only.
